He was a Spanish professor and Member of Parliament. He was married to Josefa Oliván de Sichar. He studied at Universidad de Huesca, where he obtained his doctorate in 1826 and where he was professor of Civil Institutions in 1835 and later of Jurisprudence, until the University was shut down in 1845. He was elected vice-rector of Universidad de Huesca in 1839 and rector in 1840.

In 1845, he was transferred to Universidad de Zaragoza, and in 1847 he started teaching Jurisprudence in that same university. He was elected Dean of the Faculty of La of Universidad de Zaragoza in 1853, and the taught Elements of Commercial and Criminal Law in 1862.

He was also a Parliamentary Deputy for Huesca in the elections of 1867. He was elected President of the Academy of Legal Practice of Aragón in 1847.
