He got, unanimously, the degree and the doctorate in Laws at the University of Zaragoza in 1834. He also studied and passed the modules of the Aragonese Royal Society in Zaragoza and one year of Political Economy and another one of Agriculture.
He was appointed the chair of political Economy and Administration at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zaragoza in 1846. With the reform of Moyano Act his chair was transferred to the Faculty of Law under the name of Economy and Statistics, and that was where he worked until the day he died.
He held the following positions too:
Lawyer at the National Courts.
Legal counsel at the Commercial Court of Zaragoza.
Provincial deputy representing the judicial party of Calatayud in 1841.
