Spanish priest and professor. He started his academic training in 1826 with the baccalaureate of Philosophy at the Faculty of Canons in Zaragoza. Later on he was awarded both a degree and a doctorate at the same university.
His academic career was developed at the University of Zaragoza and he started being a substitute for the chair of Canons. He was given the chair of Canonical Institutions in the Faculty of Jurisprudence at the University of Zaragoza. Due to the reorganisation of the Faculty of Law he was transferred to the chair of Spanish Civil Procedural, Criminal, Canonical and Administrative Law, and Theory and Practise for writing Public Instruments. In addition, he was dean of the Faculty of Jurisprudence and Vice rector of the university.
He held the following positions:
Prosecutor and general military vicar.
Synodal examiner from the Archbishop of Zaragoza.
