Spanish professor. He was born in Granada and he was the son of José María Blanco Muñoz and Francisca de Paula Constans y Coronel.

He started his academic training in 1869 with the baccalaureate of Arts at the High School of Granada. He continued his studies at the University of Granada where he was awarded a degree and a doctorate in Civil and Canonical Law yet, he also obtained a degree on Philosophy and Literature.

His academic career started in 1874 when he was the substitute of the chair of Commercial and Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law in Granada. He was also an interim professor of the Notions of Civil, Commercial and Criminal Law in the School of Notaries in Granada. He was a professor of Commercial Law at the University of Santiago, yet he was transferred to the University of Granada.

He held the following positions:

President of both the Artistic and Literary Athenaeum of Granada and the Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation.
