History:

Spanish professor. He was the son of Joan Doménech and Marina Coll.

He started his academic training studying the baccalaureate on Philosophy at the University of Barcelona. He studied the degree of Administration as well as Civil and Common Law. He was awarded a degree by the Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty of Jurisprudence from the Universidad Central in Madrid. He became a Doctor of Jurisprudence with his thesis: “La distribución de los impuestos ¿debe ser proporcional o progresiva?” [Should the distribution of taxes be proportional or progressive?].

His academic career was developed around the University of Barcelona and he started by being in charge of a chair and by being supernumerary professor. He got the chairs of Spanish Institutions of Public Finances, Political Economy and Statistics and the chair of Public Finances. In addition, he was dean at the Faculty of Law.

He held other positions too:

Councilor at the city of Barcelona.

He was part of the Provincial Commission of Statistics in Barcelona.

Vice president of the Academy of Administrative Law and the Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation in Barcelona.
