History:

Spanish professor of Law. Son of José Falcón and Fermina Ozcoidi. Famous lawyer, defender of the codification of civil law at a national level.

He began his academic education studying the philosophy high school at the High School of Pamplona. He went further in his education in jurisprudence at the University of Zaragoza, moving to the University of Salamanca and to the Central University of Madrid. From the latter he obtained his doctorate in Civil and Canon Law with the thesis: "Consentimiento paterno para el matrimonio". In the University of Salamanca, moreover, he studied the degree in Administrative Law and the doctorate.

His academic career began at the University of Salamanca substituting the chair of Theory of Legal Proceedings and Forensic Practice. He was also appointed assistant professor. In 1876 he obtained the chair Disciplina General de la Iglesia y Particular de España (General Discipline of the Church and Particular of Spain), to which were added in subsequent years those of Expansion of Civil Rights and Spanish Rights; and Spanish, Common and Regional Civil Law.

Other activities he carried out were:

Advocate for the poor by the College of Salamanca.

Second substitute of the city of Salamanca court of peace.

Property registrar in Salamanca.

Member of Monuments Commission in the province of Salamanca.

Curator of the Museum of Fine Arts of San Fernando.

Academician of the Academy of Legislation and Jurisprudence of Salamanca.

Author of a well-known monumental guide of Salamanca.
