He was a Spanish professor of Law who was married with Catalina Ruiz Digueri.
He studied the baccalaureate in Jurisprudence and graduated in Jurisprudence in 1843, obtaining the doctorate from the Universidad de Sevilla in 1845.
Professor of History and Elements of Roman Law of the Universidad de Sevilla in 1865. Secretary of the Faculty of Law of the said University in 1862 and in 1875. Vice secretary of the Faculty of Law in 1869.
Other positions he held were:
Member of the Real Academia de la Historia. Sub director of the Monte de Piedad and Caja de Ahorros de Sevilla. Trustee of the City Mayor of Seville since 1856 until 1864.
