He was a Spanish professor of Law and priest. Son of Emilio Pedret y Tost and of Sofía Casado Reinoso, he was appointed catholic priest in Tuy. He completed the basic education at the Instituto de Santiago and graduated on the 13th of June, 1921, obtaining the doctorate from the Universidad Central in 1923. He obtained the doctorate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University of Rome in 1917. He graduated in History in 1931. He moved to Germany to continue his studies in 1933.

Professor of Canon Law of the Universidad de Santiago in 1942. Appointed vice dean of the faculty of Law of the said university from 1942 to 1961. Dean from 1961 to 1965.

Other positions he held were:

Second chaplain of the Army in 1924. Second chaplain of the Spanish Army in 1925. Director of the Instituto Diocesano de Cultura Religiosa Superior in 1943. Member of the Academia Gallega de Jurisprudencia y Legislación in 1968.
