He was a Spanish professor who was born in Soria and passed away in Madrid. He was son of Joaquín García de Diego and M. Dolores Gallo Fernández.
He began his academic career with the high school at the General and Technical High School of Barcelona. He was graduated and doctorate in Law, also graduated in Philosophy and Literature, History section.
His academic career began with him as an assistant of practical classes at the Faculty of Law in Madrid. He obtained the chair of History of the Spanish Law from the University of Murcia. He moved to the same chair to the University of Valencia. At the University of Madrid, he was in charge of the chair of History of the political and civil Institutions of America. Moreover, he was Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law. He obtained the chair of History of the Spanish Law and the chair of Indian Law from the Complutense University of Madrid.
