He was a Spanish professor of Law who studied high school at the Instituto Cardenal Cisneros and graduated in Law at the Universidad de Madrid on the 23rd of June, 1881, obtaining the doctorate in Civil and Canon Law in 1885.
Professor of Economy and Statistics and of Elements of Public Finance of the Universidad de Valencia in 1895. He moved to the Universidad Central de Madrid in 1896, occupying the chair of Political Economy and Statistics. Professor of Public Finance of the said university in 1912.
Other positions he held were:
Lawyer of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados of Madrid. Academician and professor of the Real Academia de Jurisprudencia y Legislación of Madrid.
