He was a Spanish professor of Law who belonged to a really conservative family, close to Carlism, whose father was Jaime Mur, surgeon doctor born in Palma de Mallorca. His mother, María Josefa Sancho, was original from the city of Valencia. He studied the baccalaureate and graduated in Law at the Universidad de Valencia in 1900, obtaining the doctorate from the Universidad Central in 1920.

He was a professor of Trade Law of the Universidad de Murcia in 1920. That same year he moved to the Universidad de Valencia to the same chair. When the Civil War broke out he fled from Spain. The republican authorities dismissed him from every institution he belonged to. He was separated from the chair and his position of Dean of the faculty of Law in 1937. He was reinstated in his chair and position of Dean in 1939. Professor of Procedural Law in 1940. He retired in 1948.

Other positions he held were:

Legal secretary of the Territorial Court of Valencia since 1907. Lawyer. Substitute judge of the Territorial Court of Valencia.
