He was a Spanish professor of Law who was born in Palma de Mallorca (Baleares), son of Josef Miquel and Josefa Peiró.
He completed high school in Valencia. He graduated in jurisprudence in 1838, obtaining the doctorate in 1839.
Professor of Roman Law of the Universidad de Valencia in 1846. He was in charge of the subject of Roman and Spanish Civil Law in 1865, and the teaching of Forensic Practice in 1867. He retired in 1877.
Other positions he held were:
Dean of the Colegio de Abogados de Valencia in the years 1866 and 1867. Academician of the Academia Valenciana de Legislación y Jurisprudencia.
