History:

Spanish professor of Law who was born in Villamediana (Palencia). Son of Gregorio Miguel Durango and Leonarda Romero Gutiérrez, he married Lucía Alonso Ylera. He passed away in Valladolid.

He completed high school at the Instituto de Palencia and graduated in Law at the Universidad de Valladolid on the 12th of February, 1896, obtaining the doctorate in Law in 1906.

Professor of Legal Proceedings and Forensic Practice of the Universidad de La Laguna in 1925 and of Procedural Law of the Universidad de Salamanca in 1932. In 1941, he moved to the Universidad de Valladolid to the same chair until his demise. He presented a service record in 1941, in which was certified that he was not dismissed.

Other positions he carried out were:

Lawyer. Founder of the magazine Boletín de los Tribunales in 1903. Provincial deputy of Valladolid in 1917. Senator of the province of Valladolid during the legislature from 1921 to 1922.
