He was a Spanish professor of Law and priest who was born in Albaida (Valencia). Son of Benito Mateu Valles and María Ana Giner Valler, he passed away in Albaida.
He graduated from the baccalaureate in Laws and obtained the doctorate in Civil Law in 1824.
Professor of Jurisprudence of the Universidad de Valencia and professor of Latest Compilation in 1825. He ceded as professor in 1852.
Other positions he held were:
Lawyer of the Royal Court of Valencia and of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Valencia since 1825. Tax collector of the Universidad de Valencia in 1831. Dean and prior of the university.
Canon of the Santa Iglesia since 1852. Provost of the Cathedral of Valencia.
