He was a Spanish deputy and professor who was born in Jaca (Huesca) and passed away in Zaragoza. Son of Manuel de Lasala y Larruga (jurist and romantic journalist) and of Jacoba Llanas y Susiae.
He began his academic education with the degree in Law at the Universidad de Zaragoza. He obtained the doctorate at the Universidad de Central Madrid.
His academic career was centered on the Universidad de Zaragoza and began with him being appointed temporary and permanent professor. He made use of the chair of Public and Private International Law. In addition, he held functions of Vice Rector and Dean of the University.
He was not sanctioned.

Substitute Prosecutor at the Provincial Court of Guadalajara and Zaragoza; and lawyer of the Illustrious Bar Association of Zaragoza.

Founding member of the Asociación Francisco de Victoria and of the Asociación Española de Derecho Internacional.
