He was a Spanish professor who was born in San Sebastián (Guipúzcoa) and passed away in San Baudilio de LLobregat. He was called Fernando Francisco de Paula del Carmelo. Son of Ángel de León (lieutenant of infantry) and of Baltasara Olarrieta.
He began his academic education with studies in Philosophy and Jurisprudence by the Universidad de Valladolid, where he obtained the degree in Jurisprudence. He obtained the doctorate in the Universidad Central de Madrid.
His academic career stands out because he was a professor of Psychology and Logic of the Instituto de Gerona. He obtained the chair of Ecclesiastic Discipline; Forensic Oratory; Philosophy of Law; and Widening of the Civil Law and Spanish Codes from the Universidad de Valencia. Moreover, he was Dean of the University.
