Spanish student that exiled during the Spanish Civil War, son of lawyer and writer David Arias Rodríguez del Valle and grandson of lawyer David Arias García. When the Spanish Civil War started, he went with his family to Bercelona and moved from there to France, but his father was sent to a concentration camp. David, his sisters María Isabel, Rita and María de la Cruz (Lolina) and his mother Rita Fernández González were sent by train to the Abbey of Noirlac (Cher department in France) and later to Châteaufer (Bruère-Allichamps, France), where they stayed until 1940, when they moved to Bordeaux. He went from Bordeaux to Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), where he arrived on board "La Salle" ship in Febraury 1940. He lived in Puerto Plata and Cuba until January 1942, when he moved to Mexico as refugee along with his parents and sisters. In Mexico, he married another exiled woman, Concepción Simarro Solsona. There is not more information about his life.

Como consecuencia del desarrollo de la Guerra Civil marchó con su familia a Barcelona. Desde Barcelona se exiliaron en Francia y en la frontera se llevaron detenido a su padre a un campo de internamiento; mientras tanto, él, sus hermanas y su madre fueron trasladados en tren a la Abadía de Noirlac (Departamento de Cher, Francia). Posteriormente fueron trasladados a Châteaufer (Bruère-Allichamps, Francia) donde estuvieron hasta 1940 cuando se marcharon a Burdeos. Desde Burdeos se exilió a Puerto Plata (República Dominicana), llegando a bordo del vapor Lasalle en febrero de 1940. Residió en Puerto Plata y en Cuba hasta enero de 1942, cuando toda la familia se instaló en México. En el país azteca se casó con la española Concepción Simarro Solsona, también refugiada.
