Médecin hongrois. Il étudie la médecine à l¿Université de Vienne. Là-bas, il entre en contact avec le mouvement ouvrier et dès 1924, il est membre du Parti communiste hongrois clandestin. Il est connu sous le pseudo de « Goryan ».
En 1936, pour aider la République espagnole, il vient se battre lors de la guerre civile et il est médecin de la XVème division, avec le grade de commandant. Il rédige la revue « La voz de la Sanidad » où il écrit de nombreux articles. Il a la réputation d¿être un excellent chirurgien. Il part d¿Espagne le 9 février 1939.
En entrant en France, il est enfermé dans un camp de travail mais il réussit à arriver dans l¿Union soviétique en 1939 où il travaille dans une clinique d¿urgences. En 1941, quand les allemands envahissent l¿URSS, il se porte volontaire mais il ne réussit pas à combattre au front. Il est arrêté et enfermé dans un camp de concentration où il meurt en août 1942.

Fue conocido con el alias de "Goryan". En 1936, en ayuda de la República Española, vino a combatir en la Guerra Civil y fue médico de la XV División, con el grado de comandante, y redactor de la revista "La voz de la Sanidad", donde escribió numerosas artículos. Tuvo fama de ser excelente cirujano. Se marchó de España el 9 de febrero de 1939. Al entrar en Francia fue internado en un campo de trabajo pero consiguió llegar a la Unión Soviética a finales de 1939 trabajando en una clínica de urgencias. En 1941, cuando los alemanes invadieron la URSS, se presentó voluntario pero no llegó a luchar en el frente. Fue detenido e internado en un campo de concentración, donde murió en agosto de 1942.
He was a Hungarian doctor. He studied Medicine in Vienna where he came into contact with the labor movement. From 1924 he was a secret member of the illegal Hungarian Communist Party. He was known with the alias "Goryan". In 1936, he traveled to Spain supporting the Second Republic during the Spanish Civil War and he was the doctor of the XV Division. He was also a commandant and the editor of the Magazine "La voz de la Sanidad" for what he published some articles. He left Spain on February 9th 1939 and, when he arrived in France, he was imprisoned in a forced work camp. However, he could reach the Soviet Union at the end of 1939, working for an emergency clinic. In 1941 the Germans invaded the URSS and he offered himself as a volunteer, but he could not fight on the field. He was detained and he was interned in a concentration camp where he died in August 1942.
