Vicario y diputado. Nacido en Madrid, fue nieto del ama de leche de Fernando VI. Cursó estudios de gramática y filosofía en la Corte y luego se trasladó a la Universidad de La Habana donde se matriculó y siguió estudios de teología eclesiástica. Continuó su formación en México, en el Colegio de San Ildefonso, a instancias del obispo de Nicaragua, Esteban Lorenzo Tristán. Ordenado sacerdote en Durango fue luego cura de Sombrerete, a lo que siguió la consecución de la vicaría de San Ignacio de Tamazula. Pasó por los curatos de Guarisamey, Bolaños, Chapala y Tala.
Elegido diputado suplente por Guadalajara en 1813, no llegó a tomar posesión de su cargo. Contribuyó con donativos a la lucha contra el francés y se opuso a los incipientes movimientos revolucionarios en México.

He studied grammar and philosophy at the Court and then moved to the University of Havana where he enrolled and studied ecclesiastical theology. He continued his formation in Mexico, at the Colegio de San Ildefonso, at the request of the Bishop of Nicaragua, Esteban Lorenzo Tristán. He was ordained a priest in Durango and then became the priest of Sombrerete, and afterwards the vicarage of San Ignacio de Tamazula. He also worked at the curates of Guarisamey, Bolaños, Chapala and Tala.
He was elected Government Representative of Guadalajara in 1813, but he never took office. He contributed with donations to the fight against the French and opposed the incipient revolutionary movements in Mexico.
