Autograph original. This is the first record we have of this order. The paintings Danae and Venus and Adonis belong to this series and were the first pair of paintings sent by Titian, now at the Museo del Prado (Madrid); however, there are some doubts about the second. It is one of the main series of mythological paintings of the entire Renaissance.
