Legajo 133. 1798, [1786, 1792-1794, 1796, 1797, 1799]. Correspondencia al Gobernador de la Luisiana. B, 18.5 cm., 400 letters. Most of the legajo is of the year 1798, there being only a few for each of the other years noted. The legajo is badly in disorder. The bulk of the correspondence is the drafts of Governor Gayoso de Lemos. The legajo contains the following series of correspondence:
(a) Drafts of letters of Manuel Gayoso de Lemos, governor of Luisiana, to Manuel Andry, César Archinard, Nicolás Daunoy, Carlos Dehault Delassus, Martin Duralde, Vicente Fernández Tejeiro, Manuel Garcia, Francisco Garic, Carlos de Grand Pré, José de Hevia, Diego de Lasaga, Francisco Morales, Bishop Luis de Peñalver y Cárdenas, Francisco Rivas, Zenón Trudeau, and Nicolás Maria Vidal. (b) Letters of Elias Beauregard, Nueva Orleans, to Manuel Gayoso de Lemos; Jacobo Dubreuil, Panzacola, to Francisco de Paula Gelabert; Juan Gautier, Nueva Orleans, to Fernando Lisoro; Carlos de Grand Pré, Baton Rouge, to Elias Beauregard; José de Hevia, galera la Luisiana, to Gayoso de Lemos; Manuel Lanzós, Mobila, to Miguel Eslava; Fernando Lisoro, San Esteban, to Pedro Olivier; Francisco Martinez, San Juan del Bayu, to Gayoso de Lemos; Esteban Minor, Natchez, to Elias Beauregard; and Pedro Olivier, Mobila, to Fernando Lisoro.
