(a) 1785, letters of Vicente Manuel de Zéspedes, San Agustín, to José de Ezpeleta. (b) 1798, 1799, 1802-1805, 1807, 1809, 1810, indexes of the letters of the captain general of the Floridas to the minister of war. There are also a few to the ministers of treasury, and grace and justice. (c) 1800-1812, indexes of letters of the captain general of Luisiana and Florida Occidental to the minister of war, nos. 110-1063 (sept., 1800-feb., 1812; see legajo 1750). (d) 1803, Manuel de Salcedo, governor of Luisiana, to Marqués de Someruelos, no. 451 (oct. 5; draft; see legajo 155). (e) 1814, letters to the commandant of Florida Occidental from Juan Ruiz de Apodaca, captain general of Cuba. Subjects treated in the letters: 1785, McGillivray, the Creeks, and the english; 1803, relations of the governor of Luisiana with the french prefect; 1814, military administration of the province, including especially licenses to soldiers.
