Reales Cédulas proveyendo empleos militares y relación de donativos hechos por los habitantes de Luisiana y Florida con motivo de la guerra entre España y Francia.

Documents were noted in the legajo only for the years 1768-1769, 1771-1774, 1776-1792, 1794, 1796, 1798, 1802, 1807, 1809, and 1823. Three-fourths of the legajo is made up of commissions (reales despachos) granted to various officials of the province of Luisiana during the years indicated above. The remainder of the legajo contains: 1772, two royal orders approving the disposition of governor Alejandro O¿Reilly applying the laws of the indies and enforcing the use of spanish in Luisiana, and making provisions for the commercial system; 1791, royal orders on various subjects connected with the colonial administration in Luisiana; and 1793 and 1809, lists of officials, soldiers, and individuals contributing to the donatives for carrying on the wars
