The legajo consists of the letters of Vicente Folch, governor of Florida Occidental, to Juan Ventura Morales, intendant, together with the drafts of Morales to Folch. Subjects treated: Commerce, supplies for the posts and for the troops, gifts for Indians, and movements of the aAmericans. Many of the letters of Folch are but notes transmitting superior orders, sentences of criminals, and juntas de guerra. Much of the correspondence deals with routine matters
