The legajo is made up of vouchers of the accounts of Juan Crisóstomo de Acosta, treasurer of San Agustin, for 1796, as follows: Comprobantes de cargos (cartas de pago), nos. 1-69, copies, with accompanying justifying documents, in carpetas for months. Documentos de datas (libramientos), nos. 1-316, copies, with accom panying justifying documents, in carpetas for each month. These documents are the copies of the vouchers in legajo 296. The originals of the cargos were sent to Habana, mar. 2, 1803, and of the datas jan. 24, 1805
