Legajo 674. [1782-1820.] Expedientes varios. (Nueva Orleans 6.) A, 16 cm., 400 documents. The legajo is made up of the following documents, which cover only the years indicated below:
(a) 1787. Letters of Carlos de Grand Pré, Baton Rouge, to Esteban Miró. Most are simply transmissions of petitions for land. (b) 1782, 1783, 1798-1802, 1806, 1807, 1809-1818. Wills and a few death certificates of residents of Panzacola. (c) Various papers relating to land grants; 1796, plan of colonization proposed by various individuals to the gobernor of Luisiana; 1795, project of Georgia to allot lands; 1800, observations of the commandant of Illinois regarding land grants; 1804, inventory of expedientes regarding concessions of land in Luisiana; 1819, grants of land to the Duque de Alagón and the Conde de Puñonrostro. (d) A group of letters and documents, covering from 1785 to 1820, which were the enclosures (nos. 1-77, part missing) of a missing letter dealing with the subject of land grants in Luisiana.
