The letters cover the period from may, 1799, to apr. 6, 1812. They are all arranged in order. The first nineteen letters are badly damaged by water. The legajo consists of the drafts of Marqués de Someruelos, as captain general of Luisiana and the Floridas, to the ministers of war, nos. 1-76, 78-118, 120-526, 528-679, 700-908, 910-1063 (cf. legajo 158-1).
