History:
In 1787, the Ministry of the Universal Office of the Indies is divided into the Ministry of Grace and Justice and ecclesiastical matters of the Indies and the Ministry of War, Finance, Commerce and Navigation of the Indies. Antonio Porlier y Sopranis, I Marquess of Bajamar, is appointed in this Ministry. In 1790, it is dissolved and the corresponding Ministries of Spain take over its powers.
