History:

Mieblin Zachary Stadt was born on December 7, 1907, in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor in Sciences in 1930, and then graduated Harvard Dental School with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1934. He was a Jewish member of the American Medical Bureau, working as Dental Surgeon.

He sailed to Spain aboard the “Normandie” in May 1937, and served with the Medical Services as an Oral Surgeon at Villa Paz. He returned to the United States in November 1937 aboard the “Normandie.

He married to Sari Leslie Mathews on January 28, 1942, and in the Second World War, he fought as Battalion Surgeon and Chief Surgeon on a hospital ship in the Pacific Theater. He died on October 26, 1983.
