History:

Colow, Maury was born on the 13th of September 1917 in Brooklyn, New York. He joined in the Young Communist League and in 1937 to the Communist Party. He arrived in Spain on the 17th of February 1937. He served with the Company 2 of the 20th Battalion of the 86th International Brigade. He was Section Leader of the Americans but was replaced later by Hugh Bonar .He returned to the United States on the 20th of December 1938 aboard the "Ausonia". He also served in the Second World War with the Armed Forces of the United States.
