History:

Zamora was a Spanish profession in Roman Law Institutions. He was the son of José Zamora and Jose Marcos and married Rita Carrete Pardo, with whom he had three children: Ruperta, Felisa and Luis, who also became a Professor in Law at Universidad de Santiago.

Zamora’s education was influenced by the Quintan Plan and covered fields such as geometry, arithmetic, rhetoric, poetry and laws. His life and his career as a professor and lawyer were always linked to Santiago de Compostela. He was Dean of the Bar Association of Santiago and Mayor of his town. He received the Great Cross of Isabella II the Catholic under the Royal Decree of 23rd January 1878.
