History:

Spanish lawyer, deputy and professor. He studied Law at the University of Oviedo, and then at Madrid, where he did his PhD studies. Álvaez-Buylla participated in some publications such as the University of Oviedo Annual report. He balanced his lawyer position and his professor one at the University, where he worked as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law. During the Second Republic, Álvarez-Buylla was a deputy for Oviedo in the Courts, and later on he joined the Alejandro Lerroux party.
