History:

Earl Bellamy was an American film and television director.

He graduated in Hollywood High School in 1935 after starting working as messenger for Columbia Studios. He served in the US navy in the photography unit during the Second World War. At his return, he earned the respect of his collegues with movies like: "The lone ranger" (1956-1957), "Calibre 44" (1957-1959) or "The adventures of Rin Tin tin" (1955-1956). During the sixties, he focused on comedies like "Bechelor father" (1959-1962) or "The Munsters" (1964-1965). After retiring, he lived in Alburquerque (New Mexico), where he died the 30th November 2003 at the age of 86.
