She was born in La Bisbal, Gerona, in 1909. His father was Juan Bahí Font, who was member of the POUM. When she was 17 years old, she joined the Workers and Peasants' Bloc and later the POUM. She also joined the group "Pro-infancia obrera", that gave protection to children of those who died during the Revolution of October 1934.
The 17th July 1936, she got married Juan Parera Ruart, who she exiled with. During the Spanish Civil War, she participated picking ammunition up and sending it to the anti-fascist side in Gerona. Her only son was born in 1938. In 1939, she first moved to France and then went with all his family (parents and siblings) to Mexico on board "Ipanema" ship. They founded a poulterer's shop and a cigar store in Mexico for six years. Later on, she opened a bigger and more successful store. They returned to Spain in 1980, but only stayed five months.
