Spanish agronomist that was exiled. He was born in Maldá (Lérida), and served during the Spanish Civil War in the Republican army, first as corporal and then as second lieutenant. He fought in Aragón front where, after being wounded, was promoted to the rank of Captain. During January and February 1939, he resisted in Od de Balaguer (Lleida) the rebels troops until he had to moved to France the 7th February, where he entered Argelès-sur-Mer concentration camp. He tried to leave France in several times, and finally did the 14th July 1939 on board "Mexique" ship.

When he arrived to Mexico, he first worked in a small farm and later was agronomy teacher in Michoacán. Furthermore, he founded two wallpaper companies and worked as insurance agent until his death. He married twice, Rosa María García and Dora Sanblan, who was a republican exiled. He had five kids. He was an active member of the Republican Left of Catalonia and was part of the Committee of Maldá. He was granted with the "Soci al Mèrit" by the "Orfeó Català de Mèxic" for his contribution on the spread of the Catalonian culture.
