History:

Spanish textile technician that exiled during the Spanish Civil War. He first exiled in France, where he was imprisoned in Saint-Cyprien concentration camp (eastern Pyrenees, France). In Spain, he was Mayor of Calella (Barcelona) and President of the General Union of Workers (UGT). During the war, he was Vice-President of the Executive Committee of the "Federación Nacional Textil", chairperson in the Industry Council and City Councillor of the Town Hall of Calella. He arrived to Veracruz (Mexico) as refugee on board "Ipanema" ship in July 1939. He received help from the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE). There is not more information about his life.
