Spanish homemaker. Political exile in Mexico, after the Spanish Civil War. Daughter of Tomása Macrad and Gregorio Villatela (province deputy for Teruel in the Second Spanish Republic, member of UGT and affiliated with the PSOE). When the coup d'Etat of 1936 took place, they were in Torres de Albarracín and her father was arrested. He was transferred to Zaragoza, where he was executed along with one of her brothers, Ricardo. She had three more siblings: Juna José, Maria and Enrique. Her brother, Juan José, who belonged to the Izquierda Republicana, was the first one exiling to Mexico City in 1939. Later on, Enrique (military pilot who fought in FARE's Polikarpov I-16 "Moscas" squadron) followed him, and traveled in May 1942, from Orán (Algeria) to meet with his brother. When she was 22 years old, she exiled with her mother, her sister Maria and her brother-in-law José Alonso Giner (secretary of the research department from the antifascist surveillance corp, and supported by Izquierda Republicana as militian in order to join the security corp of Valencia in the non-uniform group), probably from Casablanca, on 24 September 1942, on board of the Nyassa ship. They arrived to the Port of Veracruz (Mexico) on 16 October 1942. Her immigrant card states that her last residence was Mexico City. She renewed her residence permit in 1947. Her motherwas beneficiary of the JARE (Board of Assistance to Spanish Republicans)
