History:

She was a Spanish teacher, a communist militant, a member of the Spanish Federation of Education Workers

Federación de Trabajadores de la Enseñanza (FETE)

under the UGT and of the Association of Antifascist Women (AMA) inspired by Dolores Ibarruri. She was detained multiple times due to her political activity in the radical administration of the Spanish Confederation of Autonomous Right-wing Groups (CEDA) and during the War she fought as a commander in Madrid. Afterwards, she was exiled to Mexico, where she kept militating and working as a translator and proofreader for publications related to the Party.
