She was a Spanish archivist. When she graduated in Philosophy and Literature, specializing in History, at the University of Valladolid, she received the Extraordinary Price. At the beginning she was focused on teaching. After passing the public examination in 1942, she joined the Corps of Archivists, Librarians and Archeologists and she was assigned to the ¿Archivo de Hacienda de Álava¿[1] where she worked until 1944. Later on, after passing another examination, she was transferred to the General Archive of Simancas, where she worked for the rest of her career. In Simancas, in 1965, she became Secretary of the archive and, in 1969 she held the position of director of the archive until she retired in 1981. She was the author of some literary works about the maps and plans catalogues kept in the General Archive in Simancas. [1] Archive of the Treasury Department of Alava
