Spanish politician, teacher, and professor. She graduated in Biology and she was Professor of Natural Sciences and Biology at the University of Badajoz, as well asTechnical Inspector of Secondary Education. In the first democratic elections she was elected deputy for Badajoz by the Grupo Parlamentario Centrista (Centrist Parliamentary Group) during the Constituent Legislature (1977‑1979) and she was re‑elected in the First Parliametnary term (1979‑1982). She was Deputy Director‑General of Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science (1977‑1978). Moreover, she was part of the Assembly of Parliamentarians that initiated the autonomic process of Extremadura, being Regional Minister for Industry and Energy (1978‑1982) and Vice President of Legislative Affairs of the Junta de Extremadura (1982). She died in Badajoz at the age of 61.
