History:

Spanish politician. He studied law at the Central University of Madrid. Deputy to Cortes in the first Republic. Together with Antonio Prieto Puga and José Manuel Martínez Pérez, they founded La Voz de Galicia in 1882 and he became its sole owner in 1885. In the 1891 legislative elections, he was elected as a republican deputy and in 1910 he won a seat once again. In addition to deputy, he was Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior in 1905 and in 1910.
