Spanish stockbroker and politician. He graduated in Law from the University of Valencia. He also graduated in Comparative Law from the University of Strasbourg. Aguirre de la Hoz obtained the European Community certification course by the School of Diplomacy. He was a member of the UCD Executive Committee in Valencia and the UCD-Valencian Country Regional Committee. Aguirre de la Hoz was also a deputy of UCD for Valencia in 1977, during the Constituent Legislature. During this period of time, he was appointed the vice-president of the Commission of Economy at the Parliament. Between 1978 and 1979, Aguirre de la Hoz was Conseller d'Economia i Hisenda (Minister of Economy and Finance) in the two first pre-autonomous Valencian governments. He also participated in the Commission of Transfers in the Valencian Country. Later on, he founded Partido Popular. Aguirre de la Hoz died on 4th February 2013, being rewarded with the Medal of Constitutional Merit.
