Spanish jurist and politician. Deputy in the Constituent and I Legislatures. He combined his Law studies at the University of Valencia with his work as an agent, and then as a lawyer.
After finishing his studies in 1968, Albiñana set up a lawyer's office along with some colleagues, in which he worked until 1977. Linked to some progressive Christian segments, he joined UDPV (Democratic Union of the Valencian Country) at the end of the 60's, quitting it in 1972. The same year he took part in the Young Lawyers Congress in León, where he met Pablo Castellano and Fernando Múgica, directing himself to socialism. From 1974 he was a member of the PSOE local and provincial Committee of Valencia clandestinely, representing it at the PSOE National Committee. He was elected secretary of Migration of the Federal Executive Committee in the XXVII PSOE Congress in 1976, exercising this duty until the next Congress in 1979. On the June 1977 general elections he was elected deputy of PSOE for Valencia, and also on March 1979, quitting the seat on 27th February 1980. On April 1978, Albiñana was also elected the president of the Political Force Council of the Valencian Country, which preceded the future Generalitat Valenciana. He quitted it on December 1979 because of his disagreement with his own party, since it began to radicalize to a nationalist position.
On February 1982 he joined Unitat del Poble Valencia or UPV (Unity of Valencian People), being its deputy-secretary general in 1983. Shortly afterwards, he quitted politics. Albiñana was a supervising Judge in Castellón, a Magistrate at the Provincial Court of Barcelona, a Judge at the Court of Instruction number 1 of Valencia (from 2009), and Emeritus Magistrate at the Courtroom of Castellón (from 2003). Once he retired, Albiñana was a candidate for the Senate in the 2015 general elections, on the Compromís-Podemos-És candidature, without being elected
