History:

Spanish lawyer and politician. He joined UCD from the liberal side, winning a seat at the Congress during the Constituent Legislature. In the first pre-autonomous government, headed by Plácido Fernandez Viagas, he was the Minister of Education in the Court of Andalucía. Alés was also a city councillor at the Council of Sevilla, and a member of the Provincial Government. After UCD disappeared, he participated in the proposal of the Democratic Reformist Party, being the provincial responsible in Sevilla later on. Then he returned to work as a lawyer after losing the elections for the Congress of Sevilla. Finally, Alés died in 2004.
