Politician, Member of Parliament and representative of the Civil Administration of the Spanish State. He was born on 5 May 1941 in Valladolid. He was elected as a congressman in the Constituent Assembly, in the I, II, and III parliamentary terms. Law degree from the University of Valladolid. Official of the Cuerpo General Técnico of the Civil Administration of the State under the Ministry of Agriculture. Juan Luis Colino was elected parliamentary deputy by Valladolid in the Constituent Parliamentary term of 1977. During that period, he was part of the Committees on Agriculture, Environment, Justice, Presidency, and the Joint Committee Spanish Parliament-European Parliament. He was militant of the PSOE (Partido Socialista Obrero Español) and in 1997 he participated in the socialist assembly of Castile and Leon, which was celebrated in Villalar de los Comuneros in order to demand the decentralization that later initiated the autonomy process. Finally, between 1986 and 1999 he was member of the European Parliament.
