History:

Spanish politician and commercial administrative. He was born on 5 April 1954 in A Coruña. Militant of the socialist formation during the underground in the province of A Coruña, Andrés Eguíbar was elected PSOE deputy (Partido Socialista Obrero Español) in the Constituent Parliamentary term (1977-1979). In January 1979 he abandoned the socialist formation and he requested to be incorporated to the Unión de Centro Democrático (UCD/Union of Democratic Centre), due to his defense of the anti‑Marxist thesis for PSOE, differing with regard to the resolutions adopted after the XXVII Congress.
