Spanish politician, lawyer, and professor. He went to school in Azuaga and he studied at A Levels with the Jesuits of Seville. He graduated in teaching in Badajoz, at the Escuela Normal, and worked as such for a short time. Simultaneously he studied Law at the University of Seville, where he graduated and got a PhD. After that, he left teaching and devoted himself to jurisprudence, which he made compatible with political and business activities. He is also a business professor, who has practiced as a lawyer and who is currently a member of the Arbitral Tribunal of Madrid. He completed a postgraduate in Commercial Law at the Università di Roma 'La Sapienza'. Returning to Spain, he unanimously won the Chair of Roman Law at the University of La Laguna. Later he held that of Santiago de Compostela and finally that of the UNED, where he currently remains as professor emeritus. In addition, he was deputy of Unión de Centro Democrático (Union of Democratic Centre) in the Constituent Cortes of 1977.
