Spanish politician, lawyer, and professor. Law Degree from the University of Granada. Lawyer specialized in matrimonial issues. He was an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law of Granada. Politically, he participated in the formation of Unión de Centro Democrático (UCD/Union of Democratic Centre). Although his Christian Democrat origin, he was included in the liberal sectors of the UCD parliamentary group. Joaquín García‑Romanillos was also deputy of UCD for Granada in the Constitutional Parliamentary terms (1977-1979) and in the I (1979-1982) parliamentary term.
