Spanish industrial organization technician and politician.

Actually, his real name was Lenin, but Zamora had to be baptized and to change his name to enter the High School of Almería (1944).

In 1952, Zamora moved to Argentina and worked at the Agrarian Extension Service. Thanks to that, he visited Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador and Costa Rica. Zamora came back to Spain in 1956, performing the military service in Ceuta. After he graduated, he moved to Barcelona in 1963 to study at the Mining School, where he worked at a company in Bajo Llobregat meanwhile. In 1971 Zamora bought some shares and moved to Madrid, from where he traveled to Almería in 1976 balancing his entrepreneurial and political career, working as member of the Administration Board of the Commercial and Industrial Society Aries.

Zamora's political career began in 1971 firstly in the Catalonian Socialist Party, and then in the Andalusian one. He worked as the spokesperson of the Provincial Executive Committee of Almeria in 1977. Shortly after, he joined PSOE, in which he worked as a member of the Director Committee of the Andalusian Socialist Federation of PSOE, and as a deputy for Almería in the Constituent Legislature (1977-1979).

Zamora's appointing as national vice-president of COPYME forced him to leave PSOE in 1979, so he joined UCD. Between 1980 and 1981 he was general-director of Commerce and Economic Coordination in the pre-autonomous government, taking part in the drawing up of the Urgency Plan for Andalusia (PUA). Later on, he organized the Democratic Action Party in Almeria, from which he was the provincial president and which joined PSOE on October 1982.
