Seitz, George B. (1888-1944)

US scriptwriter, producer, and film director. He began his career as a scriptwriter, after which he directed his first feature film, "The Exploits of Elaine" (1914). He shot a lot of films, some of them working for Columbia Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Some of his works as director are "Pirate Gold" (1920), "The Vanishing American" (1925), and "Andy Hardy's Blondie Trouble" (1944).
